I am planning to visit Madrid mid November. (November 16-20th) I have never visited Spain and would love to know the following?

What is the weather like during that time?

I am thinking of staying at the Room Mate hotel (Travesía de Trujillos 3) Any objections with that hotel?

If I stay there – any great places for a single girl in her 30s to hang out?

My mother and I are going to Lima, Peru this November and would like to find a way to get to Machu Picchu without having to rent a car (we’re only there for 5 days) perhaps a bus or train from a hotel would be available? If anybody knows from personal experience if there is anyway to get there without renting, please respond. Thank You ( ;

OK I m staying in a Hampton and wearing sweats, a t-shirt and socks. Do you think I need shoes to go grab a cup of coffee. My other suitcase is locked and I dont want to wake my husband to get the key,

He was uo driving most of the night, so I would like to hang out down there for an hour or so, so he can rest.

What makes a breakfast "continental"? Does coffee and donuts make something continental? Is it only offered in North America? How did this tradition get its name? Anyone know?
